Pakistan’s Independence Day was celebrated in a grand and historic manner, as the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) organized a flag-hoisting ceremony at Deosai, one of the world’s highest plateaus. This event, held in the breathtaking surroundings of northern Pakistan, symbolized the nation’s pride and unity while showcasing the country’s natural beauty to the world.
The ceremony was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including delegates from the National Tourism Summit, ambassadors, and envoys from various countries. Among the participants were ambassadors from the European Union, Egypt, Myanmar, Yemen, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and other nations, along with representatives from Turkey and Portugal. Similarly, Malaysian High Commissioner Mazhar Bin Mazlan highlighted the deep friendship between Pakistan and Malaysia, describing the two countries as partners through good and challenging times. He praised Pakistan’s achievements since gaining independence and thanked President ICCI Ahsan Bakhtawari and his team for organizing the celebration in such a beautiful and symbolic location.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador, Khizr Farhadov, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Pakistan, emphasizing the strong ties between the two nations.
